Vietnam National Museum of History Reviews 2025 Achievements and Sets Strategic Course for 2026

On the morning of December 12, 2025, Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) held the annual review conference to summarize outstanding achievements in 2025 and set strategic directions for tasks in 2026. Attending and chairing the conference were Mr. Nguyen Van Doan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the VNMH; Mr. Nguyen Van Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoan, Member of the Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Party Committee’s Inspection Commission, and Deputy Director. The conference was also attended by all VNMH staff and representatives from Company 5, Regiment 31, under the Mobile Police Command, Ministry of Public Security.

On the morning of 17 November 2025, the Party Committee of the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) hosted a thematic talk on “Developing Cultural Industries in Vietnam.” The session was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoan, a member of the Standing Committee Head of the Party Committee’s Inspection Commission, and Deputy Director; as well as all Party members, officers, and employees of the museum.

Delegation from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China visits the Vietnam National Museum of History

A delegation from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, led by Mr. Zhao Yong Tao, the Deputy Director-General of the Department of Finance, visited the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) on November 11, 2025. The visit was part of the activities celebrating the 75th anniversary of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations (1950 - 2025) and aimed to strengthen friendship between the two nations.

The Vietnam National Museum of History receives delegation from Taiwan's National Museum of Prehistory

On the morning of September 23, 2025, the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) had the pleasure of welcoming and working with the delegation from the National Museum of Prehistory, Taiwan. The Taiwanese delegation included Mr. Wang Chung-chun and Ms. Yao Shu-yuh, both experts in anthropology and archaeology from the National Museum of Prehistory. The meeting was also attended by senior staff from the Archaeology Department and the Exhibition and International Relations Department of VNMH.

Vietnam National Museum of History Provides Training on Educational and Experiential Activities at the Museum - Library of Son La province

Responding to the invitation of the Son La Provincial Museum and Library, the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) provided lectures at a training workshop on September 15 -16, 2025. The workshop focused on skills for organizing educational and experiential programs and promoting reading culture, with the participation of 30 staff members.

The exhibition titled “80-Year Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness” was launched on August 28, 2025, at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) in Dong Anh commune, Hanoi. The remarkable event celebrates the 80th anniversaries of the August Revolution, which took place on August 19, 1945 and the celebration of our National Day on September 2, 1945.
